The Operating Budget is organized by fund, function, and departments. The City has three operating funds and two internal service funds. Operating Funds General Fund: The General Fund is used to account for resources traditionally associated with general government which are not required to be accounted for in a separate fund including, but not limited to: general administration, public safety, recreation, employee benefits, property tax, non-property taxes, licenses and permits, departmental revenues, fines and sales of property, State and Federal aid, long-term debt proceeds, and appropriated fund balance. Water Fund: The Water Fund is used to account for revenues and expenditures of the water utility operations of the City. Revenues are generated from user fees, which are adjusted annually to meet the costs of administration, operation, maintenance, and capital improvements to the system. Sewer Fund: The Sewer Fund is used to account for sewer operations of the City. Revenues are generated from sewer rents, which are adjusted annually to meet the costs of administration, operation, maintenance, and capital improvements to the system. -

ACTION: Notice of temporary deviation from drawbridge regulation. __________________________________________________________________ SUMMARY: The Coast Guard has issued a temporary deviation from the operating schedule that governs the Long Beach Bridge across Reynolds Channel, mile 4.7, and the Loop Parkway Bridge across Long Creek, mile 0.7, at Nassau County, New York. This deviation is necessary to facilitate a fireworks display and allows the bridge to remain in the closed position for two and a half hours. DATES: This deviation is effective from 9:30 p.m. June 30, 2018 to 11:59 p.m. on July 2, 2018. ADDRESSES: The docket for this deviation, USCG-2018-0386, is available at http://www.regulations.gov. Hurricane Irene, Forty-five NYRCR Communities, each comprising one or more of the 102 Tropical Storm Lee, and Superstorm Sandy wreaked havoc on the lives of localities, were created and led by a NYRCR Planning Committee composed New Yorkers and their communities. These tragic disasters signaled that New of local residents, business owners, and civic leaders. Members of the Yorkers are living in a new reality defined by rising sea levels and extreme Planning Committees were identified in consultation with established local weather events that will occur with increased frequency and power. -
