Five Ways Island

Please note that: 1) Islington Row A4540 is a dual carriageway, and hence there is no right turn into George Road from Islington Row, nor any direct access from B4127 Bath Row into George Road.

2) Rd, Calthorpe Road and Westbourne Road are “one-way” streets.

Our Clinic and Consulting Rooms at No. 43 George Road:

Our Clinic and Consulting Rooms are about two thirds along George Road on the right side (just after the last white house on the right) when approaching from St James Road. When approaching from Islington Row, our clinic is on the left side just before the first white house.

Car Parking:

On-street parking available on both sides of George Road (limited to one hour). There are two reserved parking spaces available directly in front of the house for people with disabilities and/or limited mobility.

There is also a car-park at the rear of the house accessed from Enfield Road. When travelling towards Five Ways Island along Islington Row Middleway, Enfield Road is the first left after the Five Ways Railway Station. Our car-park is on the right side as you approach the end of Enfield Road. Once parked, use the access-way on the left side of the house to get to the front of the building.

Note:- To get to our car-park from the front of the building, travel towards St James Road, turn left into St James Road, then left again into Wheeleys Road. At the traffic lights turn left onto Islington Row Middleway, and take the first left after Five Ways Railway Station and before Scrivens into Enfield Road. Our car-park is on right side at the end of Enfield Road. (For your first visit, it may be best for you to use either one of the two spaces at the front of the house, or the rear car-park because this appointment could be just over 1 hour, and on- street parking is limited only one hour).

LOCAL TRAVEL DIRECTIONS FROM BROAD STREET (A456):

Travelling out of the City along Broad Street, keep left on the approach to Five Ways island - do not take the underpass! Take the second exit from Five Ways Island onto Calthorpe Road (B4217). Keep left and after passing the four consecutive bus stops, take the first left into St. James Road. Take the second left into George Road. No. 43 George Road is about two thirds along the road on the right side, just after the last white house on the right.

LOCAL TRAVEL DIRECTIONS FROM HARBORNE ROAD (B4284):

Travelling along Harborne Road towards the City Centre, after passing Greenfield Crescent on the right, continue for about 275 yards (250 meters) then take the turning to the right just before the pedestrian-crossing lights. This right turn is an access road that "u-turns" into Calthorpe Road.

After joining Calthorpe Road, filter across to the left side of the road and take the first left into St. James Road then take the second left onto George Road. No. 43 George Road is about two thirds along the road on the right side, just after the last white house on the right.

LOCAL TRAVEL DIRECTIONS FROM HAGLEY ROAD (A456):

Travelling into the City along Hagley Road, keep left on the approach to Five Ways island - do not take the underpass ! Take the fourth exit from the Five Ways Island onto Calthorpe Road (B4217). Keep left and after passing the three consecutive bus stops, take the first left into St. James Road. Take the second left into George Road. No. 43 George Road is about two thirds along the road on the right side, just after the last white house on the right.

LOCAL TRAVEL DIRECTIONS FROM ISLINGTON ROW MIDDLEWAY (A4540):

When travelling along Middleway and Islington Row Middleway towards Five Ways Island, after passing Five Ways Railway Station on the left, take the second left into George Road. No. 43 George Road is on the left just before the first white house.

LOCAL TRAVEL DIRECTIONS FROM MIDDLEWAY (A4540):

Take the third exit of Five Ways Island into Calthorpe Road (B4217). Keep left and after you pass the three bus stops, take the first left into St. James Road. Take the second left into George Road. No. 43 George Road is about two thirds along the road on the right side, just after the last white house on the right.

LOCAL TRAVEL DIRECTIONS FROM WHEELEYS ROAD:

If travelling along Wheeleys Road towards the City Centre, turn left into St. James Road, or if travelling away from the City Centre, turn into St. James Road. Take the first right into George Road. No. 43 George Road is about two thirds along the road on the right side, just after the last white house on the right.

LOCAL TRAVEL DIRECTIONS FROM CHARLOTTE ROAD:

Travelling along Charlotte Road (away from Wellington Road) stay on Charlotte Road until it crosses Wheeleys Road. Cross Wheeleys Road into St. James Road. Take the first right into George Road. No. 43 George Road is about two thirds along the road on the right side, just after the last white house on the right.
