The wait is over. This is the thrilling return of Type S performance. We’ve upped the ante on our performance pedigree, getting back to our roots and ushering in a new era of performance. At its core is an Acura-exclusive 3.0L turbo, V-6 engine connected to our torque-vectoring Super Handling All- Drive™ system. TLX SH-AWD with Advance Package shown in Performance Red Pearl with optional accessories. Entirely reengineered for 2021, the TLX is built on the most rigid sedan Acura has ever created. It also marks the return of the race-inspired double-wishbone front suspension for improved grip and handling and an NSX-inspired Electro-Servo (ESB) system.

The engine bay is home to an all-aluminum powerplant—a 272-hp, VTEC® turbo, direct-injection engine paired with a 10-speed automatic for enhanced performance and acceleration off the line. With the Sequential SportShift paddle shifters, all that power is at your command.

For high-speed stability and low-speed agility, we added variable-ratio Electric Power and an available TLX-first Adaptive Damper System. The dramatic aesthetics of the redesigned TLX emphasize the power underneath. Sharp body lines and a low, wide stance give it a muscular appearance. Up front, the long, sculpted flows into the distinctive Diamond Pentagon and next-gen, four-lamp Jewel Eye® LED headlights with Chicane™ daytime running lights inspired by the ARX-05 race car. Moving along the side, the performance proportions and sheer lines sweep out to the wide rear fenders, adding to its already powerful stance. It not only stands out on the road, it's unlike anything else on the market.

The TLX’s cabin takes its cues from a jet cockpit, only far more comfortable, with first-class premium materials such as genuine aluminum, available authentic open-pore wood trim, and 16-way power adjustable perforated Milano premium leather sport seats that can both heat and ventilate. And for those who don’t wear driving gloves, there’s an available heated steering wheel. Illuminate it all with available Iconic Drive™ ambient cabin lighting with 27 unique themes.
