The 386 strikeouts already rank 547-271 (.660) record at NU seventh in school history and the staff has a chance to better the 2001 team's school record 501 strikeouts, 555-287 (.650) career record depending on how far NU advances in the postseason. 6 Big 12 Titles Nebraska has been hurt by 11 rain outs this season, decreasing the number of games to pile up strikeouts. 2 WCWS Teams However, when looking at strikeouts per game, this year's staff is averaging 8.04 strikeouts per game, 14 All-Americans which would be the best mark in school history.
