For in the labyrinthine alleyways and sewers of Coruscant's own dark side, she will cross paths with Lorn, who is fleeing from the Sith stalker, carrying with him crucial information that must reach the Jedi Council at all costs. The future of the Republic depends on Darsha and Lorn. But how can an untried Jedi and an ordinary man, stranger to the powerful ways of the Force, hope to triumph over one of the deadliest killers in the galaxy? Unfortunately, it is too late to do anything about it, because at that moment, Darth Sidious contacts Gunray. Gunray panics and tells Sidious that Monchar is sick. However, the Sith Lord sees through the lie, and Shadow Hunter: Star Wars Legends (Darth Maul) the conversation ends, he sends his apprentice Darth Maul after the missing Deputy Viceroy. There, she must pick up a former Black Sun employee named Oolth the Fondorian who is willing to trade information about the recent reorganization in the upper ranks of the criminal syndicate in exchange for protection by the Jedi Order. Unfortunately, when she does find Oolth, the ship they were supposed to travel in is damaged by raiding thugs who try to kill Darsha and Oolth. Though the Padawan is able to fend them off, the two of them have no choice but to zip-line up to the top of a building to get to the Jedi Temple. Bad luck strikes again when hawk-bats attack the two of them, resulting in Oolth falling off of Darsha just as she arrives at the top of the building. Knowing that she Shadow Hunter: Star Wars Legends (Darth Maul) failed since Oolth died, she neglects to mention this to the Jedi Council and instead only informs her Master Anoon Bondara over her failure. Bondara agrees to keep Oolth's death a secret from the Jedi Order until they find Oolth's body to confirm his death. They travel back to the Crimson Corridor, and even though Oolth's body is not where it was supposed to when he fell, Bondara and Darsha still conclude that he is indeed dead, because at this point, there is no doubt that scavengers would have taken his corpse already. Darth Maul eventually finds Hath Monchar and learns from him, while interrogating the helpless Neimoidian, the latter had sold a Sith holocron to a man named Lorn Pavan and his protocol droid partner, I-5YQ. Maul is aware that this holocron happens to contain all of the information regarding Darth Shadow Hunter: Star Wars Legends (Darth Maul) plans Shadow Hunter: Star Wars Legends (Darth Maul) bringing down the Jedi Order and taking over the Republic. Maul executes Monchar for this treachery against Sidious by decapitating him with his lightsaberand sets off to find Pavan and I-Five. When he does, he ends up chasing them so that he can kill the two of them before they can reveal the information in the Holocron to the Jedi Order. Bondara confronts Maul alone while Darsha leads the others to safety. During the battle, Master Bondara sacrifices himself by exploding Maul's speeder with his own lightsaber, giving Darsha, Lorn, and I-Five time to escape. After a long chase through the bowels of Coruscant, battling Cthonsa Taozinand other dangers, the group is once again tracked down by Darth Maul. Assant does battle with Maul while I-Five carbon freezes Pavan in an attempt to hide and protect him. After a large explosion which Darsha enacted, thus sacrificing herself, Darth Maul can sense no life in the warehouse and believes all of his targets are dead. He heads back to Shadow Hunter: Star Wars Legends (Darth Maul) master with news of success. Pavan is thawed out and this time, he starts hunting Maul. Although he was able to get the drop on Maul using a taozin nodule, he Shadow Hunter: Star Wars Legends (Darth Maul) duped into giving the Sith Holocron to Senator Palpatine, who is secretly Darth Sidious. Palpatine lies that he will give the Holocron to the Council and sends Pavan to a hospital, since, just as he is taking Shadow Hunter: Star Wars Legends (Darth Maul) Holocron from Maul, Pavan has his arm cut off by the Sith Lord. In the end, Maul confronts Pavan in the hospital privately, and the Sith Lord decides to give the man a quick death for managing to present a worthy challenge. Though seemingly killed at the hands of Obi- Wan Kenobi at the end of the film, the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated television series reveals that Maul had actually survived his injuries, and he made further appearances in the series Star Wars Rebels and the film Solo: A Star Wars Storyall voiced by Sam Witwerwith Park physically reprising the role in the latter film. The Clone Wars establishes Maul as Obi-Wan Kenobi's archenemyand explores more of the character's backstory, revealing that he was once a member of a group of Zabrak warriors on Dathomirand was chosen as a child by Sidious to become his apprentice. After being provided with a pair of new robotic legs by the Nightsisters, led by Maul's mother Talzinhe seeks revenge against Kenobi. In the process, he recruits several crime syndicates to his cause, forming the Shadow Collective, and takes over Mandaloreonly to be defeated and captured by Sidious. Maul later escapes and manages to rebuild his criminal empire. Ahsoka Tano is sent to deal with him instead, and Maul is captured, only to be freed by Ahsoka when Sidious issues Order 66causing Shadow Hunter: Star Wars Legends (Darth Maul) clone troopers to turn on her. During the Galactic Empire era, Maul, having abandoned his Sith persona, leads the Crimson Dawn crime syndicate, until being stranded on the Sith world of Malachor for years. He escapes after meeting Jedi Padawan Ezra Bridgerwhom he attempts to turn to the dark side and later forces to assist in locating Kenobi. Upon tracking him down to TatooineMaul confronts Kenobi and fights him one final time. Fatally injured, he dies in Kenobi's arms while realizing that the latter is looking after the boy he believes to be the Chosen Onewhom Maul believes will one day avenge them by destroying the Sith. Since the release of The Phantom MenaceMaul has become a widely recognized character in popular culturein large part because of his intimidating appearance and double-bladed lightsaber. His popularity within the Star Wars fandom has earned him a cult status. Aside from the films and television series, he has appeared in various canon and non-canon Star Wars media over the years, such as bookscomicsand video games. After getting frustrated with a drawing by production Shadow Hunter: Star Wars Legends (Darth Maul) Gavin Bocquet, Iain McCaig started covering it in tape. Both he and Lucas liked the result, described as "a kind of Rorschach pattern ". The final drawing had McCaig's own face, with the skin removed, and some Rorschach experimentation dropping ink onto paper, folding it in half then opening.

We circle our enemy, the Jedi, and they do not know it. We laugh at what they think of as their power. Fools and liars, the Jedi think they have tapped the strength of the Force. Yet they ignore the dark side. It is their most profound mistake, the deepest foolishness of their order. They say: We do not seek power. Yet they have it. Why do so many in the galaxy admire the Jedi? Because the Jedi tell them to. But one day the galaxy will see where true strength lies. This is why I have begun this journal. Someday I hope it will be included in the Sith Archives, joining the stories and legends of the most glorious Sith Lords. I have served my Master faithfully. I have been on many missions. But this mission is different. My Master's plan goes beyond the puny planet of Naboo to take in the entire galaxy. The Jedi will be called in at some point. This first of three screenings of George Lucas’s original Star Wars film with ​ ​ live orchestra showed off the many virtues of both John Williams’s iconic score and the Orchestra’s luxurious playing, most notably the power and grandeur of the brass. George Lucas first released Star Wars in 1977, but in Brucknerian fashion, he has ​ ​ continued to make regular changes — large and small — to his trilogies of space opera films for nearly 40 years. Full of CGI (computer-generated imagery), the version screened on Friday seemed to be the most recent one, which first appeared in the Special Edition released in theaters in 1997. The movie, of course, tells the story of Luke Skywalker, a young man itching to get off the desert planet of Tatooine.
