Located in an excellent residential area in the city of Porto, the buildings are result of a bold and contemporary architecture project. Regarding the various finishes, high quality noble materials were selected that ensure great durability and consistency. Also maintaining the characteristic feature of this residential area, the existing facade of the original building will be preserved, being the same integrated in the new architecture.

The multifamily housing building fits into the type of construction for permanent residence, and not for the short-term rental market. Thus, and for the comfort and quality of life to be assured, the residents will have all the conditions essential to their well-being, being guaranteed, for example, private parking spaces for all the fractions created and offering all the comfort and convenience, as well as a sun exposure that the building offers. Due to its architectural characteristics and excellent location, this building is a double invitation, both to the national and international markets. | GABRIEL COUTO BUILDS RETAIL PARK BARCELOS FOR PV ROYAL

The commercial complex, at Quinta do Benfeito in S. Martinho (Barcelos) will be built on a detached plot of land from the original building, with an area of about 20,000 m2. It includes the construction of two buildings, one for restaurants and beverages and the other for commerce and services, subdivided and compartmentalized for the materialization of three main commercial areas.

In architectural terms, there are the ventilated facades, with the adoption of a black Viroc panel cover with a natural finish overlaid with masonry panels. The spans to be installed on the main elevation (South) have their greatest expression with the adoption of anodized aluminum frames where automatic doors are incorporated in pedestrian accesses. The commercial and service building consist of a prefabricated concrete frame structure.

Outside there is a circulation area with parking spaces on flexible pavement, composed of 4,200 m3 of crushed stone granular layers, and about 3,200 tons of asphalt concrete layers. A wide range of infrastructures were designed for this commercial complex, from the main and deepest hydraulic networks – rainwater and domestic

wastewater, such as the lightest and most superficial water supply and fire network, the low voltage and lighting electrical networks, telecommunications and the supply of natural gas.

Landscape integration operations are also planned – planting trees, shrubs and sowing, preceded by the placement of vegetable soil and an irrigation system, as well as the placement of vertical signs, road markings and some urban equipment.

In the surroundings of this commercial and services complex, a subdivision and urbanization operation will be carried out, consisting of the modeling of the existing natural land through earthworks – excavations and embankments to reach the projected levels, in an implantation area of about 25,700 m2, a set of four streets with a one-way profile in each direction with parking spaces in its transversal and / or longitudinal development, associated with the lots for the future construction of collective housing and services, in a total of twelve parcels.

The work develops at the expected pace, highlighting the need for careful compatibility and coordination of all the specialties to be implemented in this important project for the municipality, thus involving all the actors and entities with responsibility, in order to guarantee the success of its realization with the safeguarding of the objectives outlined and, primarily, the total satisfaction of the promoter.

| GABRIEL COUTO IS REHABILITATING THE TEATRO VARIEDADES, AT PARQUE MAYER IN LISBON

The project, which is giving a new life to the mythical Teatro Variedades, has the signature of the architect Manuel Aires Mateus. The building, deactivated since the 90s and in an advanced state of degradation, needed urgent intervention.

The work, awarded by the Society for Urban Rehabilitation, EM, SA, aims at the requalification of the space, which will be based on a concept of global intervention in order to rehabilitate the main spaces and complete them with a new functional environment, including the exterior , accesses and technical support areas. | GABRIEL COUTO CONCLUDED IN AUGUST 2020 THE CONTRACT FOR SMART STUDIOS SANTA APOLÓNIA, IN LISBON

The client was KKR IMO. The purpose of the work was the rehabilitation of a building belonging to IP Património, which previously served as a FERGRÁFICA facility. IP Património, a company of the IP - Infraestruturas de Portugal Group is responsible for the management of real estate assets.

The building has 114 studios for long-term rental, mainly aimed at students and young people. Given the proximity of this project to the Hub Criativo do Beato complex, this project is positioned to fill the lack of studios in the area and develop the concept of co-living, also integrating co-working for residents.

In addition to the apartments, there are common areas: a terrace, lounge, pantries, gym and outside a swimming pool. | GABRIEL COUTO CONCLUDED, IN SEPTEMBER 2020, THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE PORTO UNIVERSITY RESIDENCE (UHUB-XIOR)

Located in the university Campus of Asprela, next to Porto Engineering University and Hospital de S. João, the student residence has 452 rooms spread over 10 floors, divided into standard rooms, standard plus (with kitchenette) and studios.

All rooms have a private bathroom and are equipped with furniture depending on the type of accommodation including bed, table, desk, chairs, shelves, etc.

The model implemented in the building follows a multipolar standard that concentrates a set of 8 individual rooms for each core which includes a common support space and a fully equipped kitchen.

The 0 and -1 floors are intended for social areas and include the following areas: reception, bar / restaurant, living / social / leisure area, study / work areas, multimedia room, cinema room and Gym.

| ANGOLA - GABRIEL COUTO IS PRESENT IN THE PROVINCE OF CUANZA NORTE

The National Road 320 is under rehabilitation on the Rio Cuxila / Lucala section, in the Province of Cuanza Norte - Angola.

The works are being develpoped through weeding, cleaning and repairing ditches, unblocking and repairing of cross drainage, and rehabilitation of the asphalt pavement, including localized demolitions of the existing pavement, milling of bituminous layers and paving with new asphalt concrete.
