Margot & Graham INFORMATION GUIDELINES All military aircraft and parachute team enquiries have to be made via a formal application to the MoD at the end of September each year. Submitted by this Agency on your behalf. The Allocation meeting is in February the following year where a decision will be made and the application confirmed or declined. THE ANIMAL WELFARE LICENCE SCHEME – most animal/bird displays, irrespective of their size and number of animals, should hold the Animal Welfare Licence as of Government legislation October 2018 to enable them to display. Some will have exemption, but it is suggested that organisers should ask the question. FALCONRY DISPLAYS – require a roped arena of approx 40m x 40m plus an area of 5m x 5m with dog proof fencing for the all day static display. PETTING ZONES and SHEEPDOG DISPLAYS – sheep will only appear subject to the DEFRA rulings at that time. Most Equestrian and vehicle / motorcycle displays will require at least a double roped arena or most often preferred metal barriers to comply with the act’s insurance & health and safety requirements.

As the longest established trials display team in the UK, Inch Perfect Trials Display definitely know how to wow the crowd! Over the past 9 years, the team have performed at numerous high profile events up and down the country as well as overseas! A few events the team have provided entertainment for: British Super Bikes, International Dirt Bike Show, Southport Flower Show, Otley Agricultural Show, Preston Barracks Military show and Supercars to name but a few. The team is made up of two of Britain’s top-ranked trials stunt riders, accompanied by their very entertaining, larger-than-life commentator who keeps the crowd on their toes with a lively show! Between displays the crowds can meet the team, get photos of the bikes and receive signed posters from the riders. The show is sure to be a great hit for all the family come rain or shine! The IMPS, now celebrating their 50th year of operations, provide a fast moving, varied entertaining motorcycle team display that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Aged from 5 to 17 yrs this highly experienced display team have performed all over the UK and abroad from the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo to the Royal Nova Scotia Tattoo in Canada and as far afield as Bermuda to Singapore. This is a show with family appeal that will enhance any event presented by 36 disciplined riders in their smart scarlet and black uniforms, bringing skill, comedy and many surprises with a varied programme, this is a Team with a difference. During 2020 They will be appearing at the Oslo Tattoo in Norway and the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in Scotland. Fee £2,200 plus Travel plus Vat

WILDLIFEAnimal WelfareDISPLAYS Licence 19/00454/AIAL Bryan Paterson is the son of a gamekeeper and gained knowledge and a passion for animals/birds and the countryside from an early age. He created ‘Wildlife Displays’ to fulfil his desire to work with animals and children. Bryan is very keen to get children involved in his presentations as he strongly believes that giving children the opportunity to learn about some of these more unusual animals at close quarters will perhaps encourage some of them to become the conservationists of the future. Offering a selection of displays, Bryan and his qualified team members provide interactive sessions throughout the day with a ‘hands on’ approach with a variety of animals including, Snakes, Spiders, Scorpions, Insects, Meerkats, cute and cuddlies and Birds of Prey, all of which are captive bred, hand reared and used to being handled in a show environment. Following in her father’s footsteps Elaine has been giving sheepdog displays for over 25 years. Working geese, ducks and ducklings her dogs show their skill and versatility in her entertaining and informative displays. Members of the audience are invited into the arena to act as extra props and the displays are enhanced by music. Minimum arena size 30 x 30 metres but bigger is better. For 2 x 30 mins or 1 x 40 min show, with extra time to set up and take down props if possible, these times can be flexible. Shows include magic, juggling, unicycling, balance and illusion and, on occasions, a spectacular fire routine. Each show is closely choreographed to vintage jazz, transporting the audience back in time to the days of Vaudeville and Music Hall. Many of his routines have developed from the improvisations and eventually, once they have earned a place in the show proper, they become classics of skilled performance, enjoyed and admired by adults and children alike. Drawn from HMS Collingwood, HMS Excellent and HMS Sultan, the Royal Naval Cadets and Royal Marines Cadets of the VCC use original 7lb muzzle loading field guns used in the late 19th century during the Boer War. The display includes a slow demonstration run followed by an eagerly competed fast timed competition run which represents an action against ‘the enemy’. There are up to three teams available each with a complement of up to nineteen cadets. This is a highly competitive, touch, thrilling display of the enthusiasm and energy of today’s youth, involving teamwork, communication and discipline. Up to 4 teams can be available to provide a really thrilling display. Requires a 100m long arena and 30m width per team. Fee from £760 per team plus Travel

DRILL DISPLAY Imagine a 15 to 20 minute display of marching and rifle drill without a single word of command by boys and girls with finely tuned self-discipline and teamwork. Just watch the entertaining and impressive demonstration by the Drill Display Team of the Royal Marines Volunteer Cadet Corps from Portsmouth. Cadets aged from 10 to 17 display their skills and drills to a musical backdrop, and you’ll marvel how some of the younger cadets have the strength and precision to throw their drill rifles around. The display finishes with a smart ‘Present Arms’. The cadets are dressed in the finery of a Royal Marines ceremonial blue uniform. Requires a speaker system and an arena approximately 50m square. BAND Cadets dressed in the superbly smart ceremonial uniform of the Royal Marines emulate their older counterparts in this entertaining display of music. Aged from 9 to 17, the cadet drummers and musicians of the Band of the Royal Marines Volunteer Cadet Corps provide a wide range of music, seated, static or marching, and includes a dazzling and impressive Corps of Drums display. The skills of these boys and girls is truly inspirational. Finishing with Evening Hymn and Sunset, the cadets will march off to the Regimental March of HM Royal Marines having entertained the audience for around 15 to 20 minutes. Fees from £1500 plus VAT BOB HOGG’S NEW SHEEPDOG SHOW Bob Hogg has travelled around the country with his sheepdog display enjoying taking the world of the shepherd and his dog into countryside arena’s, showing the skills these amazing animals have, whilst offering great entertainment. Bob has had many television appearances including Countryfile, House of Tiny Tearaways working with Dr Tanya Byron along with many others. Bob has also been invited on many occasions to present his show to the Saudi Royal Family. However over the last couple of years Bob feels sheepdog displays have almost become tribute acts to the originals with a copy and paste approach all offering and looking the same. So for 2020 he will be aiming to give a completely new feel to the display still based on the traditional skills adding the entertainment factor but there will be a new vibrant display previously unseen. Something new for the public but retaining the elements they love. He can use sheep (sheep will require a secure arena, not ropes) geese and ducks depending on the requirements of the individual shows and child participation will be included. Lots of fun being a priority!! There will be special guest appearances with other animals to give variety and the element of surprise. Bob also uses bearded collies in his displays to add a little more individuality to his display and show the different ways they work. This is always very popular with the audiences as they bound into the arena with their long coats flowing looking slightly clumsy until they hear Bob’s voice and begin to work with such style and grace. Not only will he be bringing a new show to the arena but will offer two different displays per day one more traditional and educational whilst the other concentrating on the fun.
