Monsignor will potter around, weeding as he contemplates his day’s work. One of the parishioners mows the lawn, whilst another oversees the bor- ders. The millennium volunteers from Northallerton College do much of the backbreaking digging over and planting up. They are led by Donna, who lives lo- cally and regularly attends the church.
