2016 Companion Guide 2016 CC Companion Guide 1 The National / International Commissaire An Expert Serving Cycling A National / UCI International Commissaire ensures that international cycling races are held in the best possible conditions. He fulfills the role of CC / UCI ambassador for races being held under its auspices. A UCI International Commissaire ensures the smooth running of cycling races in ethical and sporting terms by ensuring that National / UCI rules are uniformly applied before, during and after the race. Since some of the aspects of his function go beyond the framework of the rules, National / International Commissaires must be able to command respect in any situation. He must also be capable of playing the role of mediator between all those involved in cycling. 2016 Le Complément 1 2016 Le complement CC 2016 Le commissaire national / International UN EXPERT AU SERVICE DU CYCLISME Le Commissaire national / international est le garant de la bonne marche des compétitions cyclistes nationales et internationales. Il remplit le rôle d’ambassadeur de CC et de l’UCI dans les épreuves se déroulant sous l’égide de ces dernières. Le commissaire national / international assure le bon déroulement des épreuves cyclistes sur les plans éthique et sportif, en contrôlant l’application uniforme des règlements de CC/UCI avant, pendant et après la course. Certains aspects de sa fonction dépassant le seul cadre du règlement, le Commissaire national / international doit avoir la capacité d’en faire respecter l’esprit en toute situation. Il doit également être à même de remplir un rôle de médiateur envers tous les intervenants du cyclisme.
