The Honorable Rosa DeLauro The Honorable Chairman Ranking Member House Committee on Appropriations House Committee on Appropriations H-307 The Capitol 1036 Longworth House Office Building Washington, DC 20515 Washington, DC 20515

Dear Chair DeLauro and Ranking Member Granger:

I am requesting funding for the Lancaster Regional Airport Taxiway Relocation in fiscal year 2022.

The entity to receive funding for this project is the City of Lancaster, located at 211 N Henry St, Lancaster, Texas 75146.

The funding would be used for the relocation of the taxiway at Lancaster Regional Airport. This relocation will allow for increased safety and compliance with FAA Advisory Circular 150/5300-13A as described in Table 3-4 for Runway centerline to Taxiway centerline separation. The current distance between the runway and taxiway at Lancaster Regional Airport is 300 feet. The FAA requires a separation of 400 feet for taxiways from runways with a precision instrument approach.

I certify that neither I nor my immediate family has any financial interest in this project.

Sincerely,

Eddie Bernice Johnson Member of Congress
