Devops engineer role (f/m) wanted for the location in Belgium

What you can expect: Our small, yet rapidly growing autonomous product team needs a control plane to ship features quickly to our existing and potential customers. You’ll be the technical owner for the delivery of these tools and help setup engineering processes that maximize the product team’s efficiency. Your success will be measured by, • Reducing overhead in the development cycle • Easing and speeding up the provisioning of new services and infrastructure • Transitioning legacy infrastructure towards a new era • Easing the monitoring of services in production

You’ll be working hands on with our engineering team using the .NET, Java, and Python stack. Working closely with the product manager, you will have the freedom to build and own the vision for a delivery pipeline in both test and production environments, take lead to pilot automation efforts, track impact iteratively, and reduce technical overhead to ship features.

What you bring to the table: Must have • Have worked on building a product delivery pipeline in small to medium product teams. • Demonstrable ability to gather product team inputs, then plan and execute based on it. • You have contributed to “always-on” servers, services, agents, or APIs using tools and languages like PowerShell, Java, Go, Python, NodeJS, C++ or Ruby. We only use some of these, but experience in any one of them is enough. • Experience with cloud/on-premises hybrid deployments • Strong awareness with sustainable development practices like automated testing • Have worked on configuration-management tools like , , etc. • Have used web services such as Nginx/IIS/Apache • Knowledge of cloud compute & storage, incl. public cloud vendors (AWS, GCP, or Azure) • Experience working in Linux and Windows environments Nice to have • Experience with Kubernetes in production will automatically give you bonus points • Have established best practices in Continuous Integration and Deployment • Strong understanding of challenges and opportunities in distributed environments • Have been part of product teams and laid down the Devops roadmap • Experience transitioning to immutable instances and Infrastructure as Code • Experience with container orchestration and services • Have worked on Terraform or • Have worked on large scale systems that cater to tens of thousands, if not millions of users
