Getting to Wimbledon from Luton Airport
Luton Airport is outside London to the North.
By Train
From outside the airport terminal building there is a constant, shuttle bus service to Luton Airport Parkway Train Station, situated 1.8km from the airport and it costs £2.40 single fare.
Regular trains then take you to Central London in 40 minutes at a cost of around £11 off peak. These trains stop at Kings Cross/St Pancras and some Thameslink trains continue directly to Wimbledon, please check.
If you have to get off at Kings Cross/St Pancras, from there take the Underground Piccadilly Line, to Earls Court station. Then take the Underground District Line to Wimbledon. Make sure you get a Wimbledon train south-bound (it should say Wimbledon on the front of the train) and get off at Wimbledon station, the last stop (around 45 minutes). Single fare with an Oystercard is £2.80 off peak (Saturday/Sunday/Bank Holidays)*
From Wimbledon station we advise you to take a taxi to your homestay. It should cost between £5 and £15.
By Coach
From outside the terminal building there are coaches to Central London, the West End and Victoria in around 1h 25 minutes costing around £12.
You may also be able to find cheaper buses from the airport with easybus, by booking online at http://www.easybus.com/en/london-luton
From Victoria Underground station take the Underground District Line south-bound to Wimbledon.
