For the past five years, the Master in Architecture program “ARCHITECURE AND EXTREME ENVIRONMENTS” has engaged with innovation strategies to inform future practitioners of alternative and sustainable solutions about the building industry. Through a site-specific approach, it aims to respond to present and future global challenges through research by design, fine-tuned site-specific strategies and active expeditions to remote world locations where 1:1 architectural prototypes are tested. The exhibition presents project from fieldwork in Iceland, Greenland, Svalbard and Alaska.
