CURRIE CHIEFTAINS MEMBERSHIP 2020 - 21 Introduction Currie Rugby Football Club offers a range of membership types designed to meet individual needs. Multiple memberships are also available as Family Membership packages. The types of memberships and related benefits are set out on the next page. The club’s membership year runs from 1 August to 31 July. Full-year memberships may be taken out or renewed from July onwards. The club-preferred system for membership payments made from a distance is BACS/Bank transfer. However, for new or renewal memberships made whilst attending the club payments may be made by cash, credit card or Bank cheque. Payment information and details of the club’s Bank Account are provided in the payment section of the attached Application Form. Spouse/partner membership A Spouse/Partner membership can only be purchased together with an Ordinary membership. It has similar benefits to an Associate membership, but match entry concessions may be interchanged with the Ordinary member, permitting the Spouse/Partner to gain free entry to matches that the Ordinary member does not attend. Family memberships Family memberships provide multiple memberships consisting of an Ordinary member, Spouse/Partner member and youth members in the P1-P3 and P4-U18 age groups, either playing or non-playing. Application The pages that follow provide Membership application forms with fee rates for different types of Memberships and Family Memberships Data protection This information will be held on the Currie RFC Membership Database and may be used to facilitate contact between members of the Club. If this application form relates to a Youth Membership then the responsible adult signing this form consents to this information being shared with the particular Youth Team Coach and Manager for the purposes of contacting team members and for contact in case of an emergency. Members must inform the Club of any future changes of the details provided. The Club will not retain lapsed members details. The details on this form will be used for Club purposes only, as explained above. Where the membership involves playing for, coaching, or managing a Currie Chieftains team then some or all these details will be shared with the SRU through their registration database. Consent is also given to being contacted by email or telephone and that any photograph taken at a game or club event, which includes those recorded on this form, can be used on the Club websites or in media reporting or in match-day programmes or promotional material. However, single payments may also be made in the club by cash, credit card or cheque. BACS/Bank Transfer BACS payment should be made to the club’s membership account (see below), with a parallel submission of the completed two-page Application Form to the Clubhouse Manager. Please mark BACS payments with your initials and ‘MBS’ e.g. for John Smith mark ‘JSMBS’. Membership will begin when the BACS payment has been received. Standing Orders arranged as a BACS/Bank transfers should be made to the club’s membership account (see below). Applications made in August can be paid in 10 monthly instalments, starting on the date the standing order is paid. Applications must be made with a parallel submission of the completed two-page Application Form to the Clubhouse Manager. Please mark monthly payments with your initials and ‘MBS’ e.g. for John Smith mark ‘JSMBS’. Membership will begin when first payment has been received. The completed two-page Application Form may be handed in at the club, sent by mail to the club’s postal address (see Introduction) or emailed to [email protected] (Tel: 0131 449 2432). Payments in the Club Cash, Credit Card or Bank Cheque payments can be made in the club and accompanied by the completed two-page Application Form or, for a straightforward renewal of membership, by presentation of your membership card. Cheques must be made out to CURRIE RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB and marked on the back with your name. address, and membership number (for membership renewal).
