TEAM / SERIES NOTES • Today’s game was the 61st all-time meeting with Nebraska, and the Golden Gophers lead the series, 34-25-2 (11-12 in Lincoln). Minnesota is 9-2 in its last 11 games away from TCF Bank Stadium, and has won three of the past four against the Cornhuskers. • Today’s contest was the latest regular-season game in the history of Minnesota football. • Minnesota is 18-7 over its last 25 games (20 B1G games, 1 ACC game, 1 SEC, and three other non-conference games). • P.J. Fleck’s fourth-year mark at Minnesota is 26-18 and eighth-year career mark stands at 56-40. Fleck is the second-youngest active FBS coach to reach 50 career victories. GOPHERS OFFENSE • Minnesota finished with 393 yards of total offense (212 rushing, 181 passing), while winning time of possession (35:48 to 24:12) and having a clean game with no turnovers. • The Gophers were 3-of-4 on Red Zone possessions, with two rushing TDs and a field goal. The only time Minnesota failed to score was when it was running the clock out to end the game. • Team totals at the half were almost dead even. The Gophers had 192 total yards (75 passing, 117 rushing), while Nebraska had 188 total yards (70 passing, 118 rushing). • Minnesota spread passes around to six different receivers in the opening half.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES • Mohamed Ibrahim led the Gophers by rushing 20 times for 108 yards and two . In six games this season, he leads the Big Ten and ranks among the nation’s leaders with 175 rushes for 925 yards and 15 TDs. • Ibrahim seventh-straight 100-yard rushing game ties Laurence Maroney (12/31/03 to 10/9/04) for the school record. Ibrahim has rushed 195 times for 1,065 yards (5.5 avg) and 16 touchdowns during that stretch. • Ibrahim has 2,689 rushing yards and 31 touchdowns despite playing in only 27 career games. He ranks ninth all-time at Minnesota for career rushing yards and sixth all-time for career TDs. Ibrahim broke a tie for seventh with Rodney Smith in the latter category during today’s game. • Tanner Morgan completed 17-of-30 passes for 181 yards and a . Morgan has thrown for a TD in 19 of his past 20 games, and the Gophers are 15-5 during that stretch. • Morgan is 18-7 as a starting QB. Since 1975, no Minnesota QB has begun his career with a better record as a starter. Morgan’s career winning percentage (.720) is the highest for any Gophers QB with 10 or more starts. • Morgan’s 5,868 career passing yards ranks sixth all-time at Minnesota, and his 44 career passing TDs ranks fourth all-time. He now needs 793 yards passing to pass Asad Abdul-Khaliq (2000-03) for fifth. Morgan is tied with (1981-82) for seventh- most completions (392) and is tied with Rickey Foggie (1984-87) for eighth-most passing attempts (628). • Cam Wiley had a career-long run of 61 yards in the second quarter and finished with seven attempts for a career-best 81 yards. • Chris Autman-Bell led the Gophers by tying his career-high with five catches for 82 yards. Autman-Bell leads the Gophers with 10 receptions for 211 yards in his past two games. • Daniel Jackson established new career-highs for both receptions (3) and receiving yards (43). • Brevyn Spann-Ford caught his first touchdown on the season (second career) on a four-yard play-action pass in the second quarter. Spann-Ford’s previous TD was against Illinois (10/5/19). • Conner Olson started his 44th consecutive game, and Blaise Andries started his 32nd straight game along the Gophers offensive line. It’s the most tackles in a game for the Gophers since Kamal Martin recorded 15 tackles against Nebraska (10/12/19). • Boye Mafe forced a fumble in the third quarter, his second of the season. He added four tackles (two solo), including a sack for a six-yard loss. • Tyler Nubin recorded his first collegiate . He also registered seven tackles (four solo). • DeAngelo Carter recorded a career-best five tackles (one solo). • Mark Crawford’s first punt went for 42 yards and pinned Nebraska at its own four yard line. On the day, he punted four times for an average of 39.8 per punt and pinned Nebraska inside its 20-yard line three times. • Anders Gelecinskyj played in his first collegiate game, and made a 31-yard field goal, while going 3-for-3 on PATs.
