• “Assessment of Cable Aging for Nuclear Power Plant (ACA)” done by JNES proposed suggestions to the Environmental Qualification (EQ) test method of cable in Japan. • Thermal and Radiation simultaneous aging shall be considered • Tentative value of the activation energy at temperature of actual plant shall be 62.8kJ/mol (15kcal/mol) • JNES-RE-2013-2049 “Guide for Ageing Evaluation of Cables for Nuclear Power Plants” (called “ACA guide”) has reflected the suggestions. • NRA, Japanese regulatory body, required the EQ test of cable based on this guide. • EQ tests of electrical equipment in accordance with ACA guide have been done by Japanese utilities and plant suppliers.

• EQ tests of electrical equipment based on the ACA guide have been done by Japanese utilities and plant suppliers.

• The Results of the EQ tests will be referred as the EQ tests satisfied the requirements of the ACA guide in Japan.
