CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL (BEDFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (DISTRICT OF MID BEDFORDSHIRE) (CIVIL ENFORCEMENT AREA AND SPECIAL ENFORCEMENT AREA) WAITING RESTRICTIONS AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2008) (VARIATION NO 8) ORDER 2010.

On the 12th March 2010 Council made a Road Traffic Regulation Order as follows:

Effect of the Order:

A. To Introduce No Stopping Monday to Friday from 8am to 4.30pm on School Entrance Markings on the following length of road in Harlington:-

 East side of Road, Harlington from a point approximately 7.6 metres north of the property boundary of 67/69 Westoning Road, southwards for a distance of approximately 31.56 metres.

 East side of Westoning Road, Harlington from a point approximately 0.65 metres south of the property boundary of 59/61 Westoning Road, northwards for a distance of approximately 25.56 metres.

B. To Introduce No Waiting At Any Time on the following lengths of road in Harlington:-

 West side of Westoning Road, Harlington from a point approximately 7.5 metres south of the property boundary of 67/69 Westoning Road, southwards for a distance of approximately 17 metres.

 West side of Westoning Road, Harlington from the property boundary of 59/61 Westoning Road, northwards for a distance of approximately 25 metres.

Date of Operation: The Order will come into operation on the 22nd March 2010.

Further Details of the Order and a plan showing the lengths of road affected may be examined during normal office hours at the Central Bedfordshire Council, Priory House, and normal opening times at Harlington Parish Council Office, rear of Parish Hall, Church Road, Harlington.

High Court Challenge: Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the ground that any requirement of that Section had not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the 18th March 2010 make application for the purpose to the High Court.

Central Bedfordshire Council (the “Council”) in exercise of the powers under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4 (2) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“The Act”) and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of schedule 9 to the Act, hereby makes the following Order:

1. This Order shall come into operation on 22nd day of March 2010 and may be cited as “Central Bedfordshire Council (Bedfordshire County Council (District of Mid Bedfordshire) (Civil Enforcement Area and Special Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2008) (Variation No 8) Order 2010”

2. As from the date upon which this Order comes into operation, the provisions of the “Bedfordshire County Council (District of Mid Bedfordshire) (Civil Enforcement Area and Special Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2008” shall be varied as follows:-

The new plan schedule reference “Area Code AC 103: Sheet Revision Number – 1” shall be added to the plans attached in the Order.
