7th December 2020

Good afternoon to you all.

Last week was another busy one here at OMS, so much so we are late in delivering this weeks Newsflash!

We received a staggering 149 entries for our photo calendar competition and have had a very difficult time in choosing due to the outstanding quality of every entry. The winners have been announced here in Newsflash on the last page and details will follow soon on how to get your copy! A gallery will be created to showcase all entries in our reception area and made available on our website soon.

Thank you to all of you who have completed our parent survey. I am very interested to hear all of your feedback so if you can spare 5 minutes to complete the survey if you have not already done so, this will be open until 18th November.

We are extremely proud of how all of our students have adapted to the new measures in school since September. We know it has not been easy. Can we just remind parents/pupils to ensure they bring a face mask to school and that they are wearing these on the school bus.

As the evenings get darker, can parents please ensure that pupils have lights on bikes and are wearing bright or reflective clothing. Can pupils also be reminded not to cycle along the paths, particularly around the first school as parents are walking along with buggies and young children. They should wheel their bikes along the path, or ride on the roads.

I hope you all had a great weekend - stay safe.
