The County Council ( Borough) (Waiting Restriction) (Consolidation) (Amendment No.56) Order 201*

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Orders under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Part III & IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To introduce ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restrictions on Ypres Road (including the turning head) in the Borough of Colchester: as specified (add to Schedule 1 of the 2008 Waiting Consolidation Order): Road Description Ypres Road, BOTH SIDES: From its junction with Circular Road South, southwards for a Colchester distance of approximately 20 metres. WEST SIDE/SOUTH SIDE: From a point approximately 100 metres south of its junction with Circular Road South, southwards then eastwards for an approximate distance of 68 metres. EAST SIDE/NORTH SIDE: i. From a point approximately 86 metres south of its junction with Circular Road South, Southwards then Eastwards for an approximate distance of 52 metres. ii. From the end of the cul-de-sac, northwards then westwards for a distance of approximately 15 metres. SOUTH SIDE: From the end of the cul-de-sac, westwards for a distance of approximately 23 metres to include the turning head.

The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Waiting Restriction) (Consolidation) Order 2008, referred to above as the ‘2008 Waiting Consolidation Order’ will be varied to add the above waiting restrictions.
