Seating comfortably 140 people plus the band, this 2100 square foot room is acoustically treated as an amazing live room and is also home to a beautiful Yamaha CF9 Concert Grand Piano. Used not only for music recitals, rehearsals or concerts, the recital room is perfect for business meetings, spoken word lectures, as well as community gatherings.

A day with Walden It's 9 a.m. at the biggest pub in Estonia, in the biggest summer resort in the country, but it's raining, the room is filled with harmonicas and lederhosen, we've been driving since 6 o'clock, and the coffee machine is broken. Our harmonica festival shows aren't scheduled to start before the evening but our harpist has insisted on entering the competition; Indrek's jittery and I'm sleepy, yet he walks away with silver. A fellow musician points to my T550 and says: "The bass lines were pre-recorded, right?" "Nah, just me and my Walden." Dennis, the American whom we're to back that evening, is still recovering from a late night, so we're off for pancakes in the rain. Ten hours later Dennis and I are on the concert hall stage with my guitar partner Martin, winging it in front of TV cameras and trying to look as worried as the black-tie audience. "I learned a new song tonight," Dennis brags backstage. "We learned two," I shoot back. "Well, I'll have two more for you tomorrow," he grins. A grey-haired gentleman in an impeccably white suit walks up and says,"Thank you very much! We are beginning a new year and I know it will be an exceptional one. Everyone who elects to enroll in Guitar at Harmony is committed to growth and personal best. That is what the music program is all about. Your students will be learning about many aspects of the guitar including: Note Reading/Ensemble Playing Chords Bass lines Improvisation Solo Classical and Fingerstyle Technique Music Theory Material Requirements 1. Students are required to purchase one text book for guitar class. The books can be purchased at local music stores or online. They both are available with CD or without CD. The CD is not required for the class, but is an excellent practice tool. 7th Grade: “Essential Elements for Guitar, Book 1” by Will Schmidt and Bob Morris, Published by Hal Leonard. 8th Grade: “Essential Elements for Guitar, Book 2” by Bob Morris, Published by Hal Leonard. 2. 3 ring binder – ½” or 1” 3. Pencils #2 4. Music stand for use at home. 5. Guitar Foot Stool – Stagg or other brand from local music store. 6. Tuner – clip on tuner. Fender, Korg and Fishman are some reliable brands. 7. Concert Wear – 7th Grade - Gentlemen: Black dress pants, Black dress Shoes, Black socks White button down, long-sleeved, collared shirt, A tie of your choice.
