Job description As the company grows, we are seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Analyst for our Finance department. This role will communicate to all relevant external parties, such as auditing firms, stakeholders and manufacturing . It is essential that this role effectively works closely with her/his direct superiors and of course all relevant colleagues across the business of Evolva. The person will report to the CFO and in dotted line to the Head of R&D as well as the Head of Operations.

Your responsibilities include: – Performing operational and financial analyzes within Operations and Research & Development and present findings and recommendation to Leadership Team – Providing guidance and direction to internal team for improving operational and financial performance – Assisting in streamlining business processes to achieve business goals – Assisting in preparation and evaluation of forecast and annual budgets – Developing financial modeling of annual budget to achieve cost objectives – Working closely with Internal Controls, as needed, to investigate and correct operational issues – Assisting Operations and R&D Manager in preparation for operation reviews – Preparation of internal reporting package including operating metrics, financial controls and performance indicators that will help in improving business performance – Ensure are in compliance with company policies and best practices – Responsible for valuation of financial data belonging to the functional areas Operations and R&D, e. g. Inventory, Capitalized development costs – Providing/coordinating technical expertise and advice regarding R&D agreements (often with milestones) and other complex financial problems including preparing memos – Assisting in the month-end closing of accounting books including preparation and processing of accruals, journal entries and intercompany charges – Providing financial review and approval of large purchases and capital expenditures – of the budget and forecast cycles including the departmental submission process as well as monthly budget versus actual reviews with department managers – Supporting and improving R&D project accounting/tracking – Participating in strategic planning processes

Minimum requirements As an ideal candidate you will bring following experiences and qualifications to the role: – Master’s degree or equivalent education in Finance or Controlling – Additional accounting related education and certificates such as CMA – Several years of working experiences preferably in a multinational stock-listed company – Excellent functional expertise in production as well as R&D controlling – Experience in implementation and ongoing development of controlling tools – Profound knowledge of finance, budgeting and cost control principles – Working knowledge of finance law and regulatory standards (IFRS) – Strong working knowledge of detailed financial data analysis – Exemplary history of financial – IT Skills High level of IT affinity, especially in the respective Microsoft Office tools as well as ERP and planning tools – Preferred knowledge of Abacus ERP and LucaNet planning software – Fluent in spoken and written English and German
