Since the last re- port, we played at the Tatoo in Fort Knox, it is a musical event that had four bands playing in the parade grounds in the Fort. It was a very nice evening. We also played for the Lincoln Homecoming on the 21st. The band had a new picture taken for pub- licity. Our schedule shows that we will be play- ing for the Senior World Little League tournament in Bangor on August 11th. Teams from all over the world converge on Bangor to do the playoffs. ESPN cov- ers some of the games. It is great exposure for the Shriner’s Hospitals. On another note, your Highlanders were the first local band to be in the Bangor Folk Festival. We will make history at this year’s Folk festival as we will be the first band to be invited back! We will be marching the festival goers from the rail- road stage to the main stage in the early evening. We are also scheduled to per- form on the Dan Cashman show. I’m not sure what that is, but it will be on TV. Finally, the Friday evening of the North- east Shrine, the Highlanders will be hav
