R&B Superstar Usher Heats up the Brisbane Showgrounds November 15, 2018 R&B superstar Usher heats up the Brisbane Showgrounds More than 34,000 music fans will be ‘rapped’ to see international R&B legend Usher take to the stage at the sold out RNB Fridays Live concert at the Brisbane Showgrounds tomorrow. Australia’s biggest R&B party is back for its second year at Queensland’s largest indoor/outdoor events venue, featuring nostalgic chart toppers from the 90s and 00s by some of the hottest names in R&B. The line-up includes US superstar and eight-time Grammy Award winner Usher, best known for songs like Yeah! and Burn. He’ll be joined by rapper Lil Jon as the headline act. Other acts include R&B icons Salt N Pepa, hip-hop trio Naughty by Nature, rapper and actress Eve, Estelle, Ginuwine, Taio Cruz and Trey Songz. Brisbane Showgrounds General Manager of Venue Sales and Marketing Jago Coyle said he was pleased to welcome so many international R&B stars to the venue. “We’re looking forward to seeing music icons from America, Britain and Australia perform to a sell-out crowd on our iconic Main Arena,” he said. “We’re hosting many high profile music festivals over the next few months including Good Things on December 9 featuring The Offspring, FOMO on January 4 headlined by famous American rapper Nicki Minaj and the popular Laneway Festival on February 2.” Gates to RNB Fridays Live open at 2.30pm tomorrow.
