SIX TEAMS LOSE IN TOP 25 CAUSING A SHAKEUP IN AFCA DIVISION II COACHES’ TOP 25 POLL

WACO, TEX.– Six Top 25 teams lost this past weekend, causing a shakeup in the poll from No. 7 on down. Bloomburg (Pa.) moves up to No. 12 after a win over then-ranked No. 8 West Chester (Pa.). Emporia State (Kan.) drops six spots to No. 16 after a loss to No. 2 Northwest Missouri State. Missouri Western State moves up to No. 19 after a win over then-No. 15 Washburn (Kan.) and Midwestern State (Texas) drops 12 spots after a loss to Eastern New Mexico. There are five Top 25 match-ups this weekend. No. 2 Northwest Missouri St. will take on No. 19 Missouri Western State No. 9 Winston-Salem State (N.C.) and No. 22 Virginia State will compete for the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association championshipm, while No. 12 Bloomsburg (Pa.) and No. 18 Slippery Rock (Pa.) will compete for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference championship.
