3. Information Item: Third Street Bridge Rehabilitation Update (Phase 2) – 20 minutes Description of Item: The Third Street Bridge (also known as the “Lefty O’Doul Bridge”) project underwent counterweight repair work during its closure in December 2017 – January 2018 and will begin rehabilitation and construction work over an 15 month period starting end of July / early August. At times, the work will impact vehicular, pedestrian, and bicycle circulation on the bridge. Thomas Roitman from the Department of Public Works will provide an update on the project and impacts.
