I'm particularly eager to help them preserve the legacy of Jack London. It's easy to see why Jack and Charmian London loved this mountainside and dubbed it 'Beauty Ranch.'

"I look forward to helping the board share the Park with our community and the world," McCoy said.

Jack London Park Partners Board Chair Peter Ferris said, "It took a while, but we finally got Glenn on board. He’s an interesting, well-rounded guy. On top of all his performing arts experience, he was a founding member of San Francisco RBI, a nonprofit organization associated with Major League Baseball to advance literacy in inner-city schools. Glenn also served on the Board of Trustees of Dance/USA, the national service organization for professional dance. He is the recipient of the Lew Christensen Medal, San Francisco Ballet's highest honor, and the ‘Ernie Award’ of Dance/USA which recognizes extraordinary administrators in the dance field. Who wouldn't want to work with him?"
