r m The products elaborated in the framework of current mapping in non-rush mode activation e u v n i ú are realised to the best of our ability, within a very short time frame during a crisis, optimising h s R n i i the available data and information. All geographic information has limitations due to scale, t B n a resolution, date and interpretation of the original data sources. The products are compliant m n u with the GIO-EMS non-rush Product Portfolio specifications. n n h is B Map Production

The present map shows basic topographic features such as Transportation Network, n Hydrography, Population (built-up areas and building footprints), PoI´s, Industry, Utilities, IC Toponyms and Administrative Boundaries, for the urban areas of Kathmandu and Bhaktapur districts. It includes other relevant information for crisis management (3W). d a These basic topographic features are derived by means of visual thematic interpretation of n o i R pan-sharpened Pleiades imagery of 03/11/2013. Building footprints have been obtained by n ar sb mean of OBIA methodologies. an B The estimated geometric accuracy of the image is 4.5 m CE90 and the geometric accuracy of ú n the vector data complies with JRC requirements for 1:10,000 cartography, as it is based on n n n visual interpretation of recognisable items on very high resolution optical imagery.
