London seats that changed hands Labour gained four seats from Conservatives and three from Lib Dems, winning 45 seats. Conservatives gained three Liberal Democrat seats, winning 27 seats. The Liberal Democrats won no new seats and held only one of their previous constituencies. A further nine seats elected new MPs of the same party.
