Target Group: The Community Alcohol Team is available for anyone aged 18 or older who is worried about his or her own or someone else's drinking.

Service Offered: The team offers individual and group support and advice, plus auricular acupuncture to people who want to cut down or stop drinking. The service also runs a group for the relatives and carers of people whose drinking is causing them problems.

If you need to detox from alcohol the team will talk with you about the best way to do this. They can also see you for a community care assessment if you think you might need residential rehab.
