www.willowlake.siteblast.com October 2005 Volume 1, Issue 7 The Official Publication of the Willowlake Homeowners Association Annual Meeting September Yard of the Month Thursday, October 27, 2005 Again, as a reminder, please mark on your calendars for an important upcoming event - Thursday, October 27, 2005 from 7 PM to 9 PM - Willowlake Homeowner Association (HOA) Annual Meeting. Our meeting is scheduled to be held at our neighboring subdivision’s clubhouse at 9330 Willowbridge Park Blvd (Willowbridge Subdivision) HOA Annual Meeting Proxy forms will be mailed out by October 7, 2005 by SCS Management company, so please be on the lookout for them. If you’re unable to attend the meeting, we respectfully ask that you promptly return the completed forms by mail to the SCS Management office, preferably no later than Monday, October 24, 2005. As a Homeowner Association entity, we are required to establish quorum in order to conduct offi cial HOA business. While the 2006 Budget will be an important topic of discussion, there will be other equally important issues related to our community that we will address and we hope that you’ll want to discuss and be directly involved with as well. Congratulations to Thomas & Judy Simon of 9719 Trailing Moss Finally, thanks to the unknown individual(s) who made repairs for being our last Yard of the Month winner for 2005. They put a to our damaged “Duck Crossing Sign” at the corner of Big Branch lot of hard work into their yard and were awarded a Home Depot Dr. and Willowlake Park Dr. Initially, I had assumed that it was our gift certifi cate. The Yard of the Month sign will be displayed at their management company (SCS) who took the initiative to make the home for the month of September. repairs. However, after further discussions with our SCS service Thanks to all the winners this year and to everyone else for their manager, that turned out not to be the case. In any event, the repairs efforts in making our neighborhood a beautiful and wonderful place were made (quite nicely, if I may add) and our sign is up once again. to live. More importantly, the costs of the repairs were not incurred by our I haven’t rec’d the picture from Michele yet, but will email it to Homeowner Association. While on the subject, let me remind you you once I have it. Thanks. again to slow down. While we care about our neighborhood signage, we care even more about our pedestrians, joggers & bicyclists (kids especially) who are making use of our streets and sidewalks.
