USC senior goalkeeper Tumua Anae (Newport Beach, CA/Corona Del Mar HS) is the MPSF leader in saves this season and anchors a powerful Trojan defense. A two-time First Team All-American and All-MPSF pick on her way into her senior season, Anae has bumped her career saves total to 694 to stand as USC’s all-time leader on record. This season, Anae has notched double-digit saves in 15 different games to average 10.0 saves per game to date. Only 4.9 goals per game have slipped by Anae, who also picked up her fifth career selection as an MPSF Player of the Week after posting 14 saves in her final home game as a Trojan.

Freshman Patricia Jancso (Budapest, Hungary/Agoston HS) wields one of the most dangerous shots in the business and stands as USC’s second leading scorer in her first year. Now with 37 goals to date, Jancso set her career-high of four goals during the MPSF title game. She had a hat trick in her first career game with USC, and has gone on to have scored in 19 games with 13 different multiple-goal outings. She picked up back-to-back MPSF Newcomer of the Week selections in March. Jancso currently ranks No. 12 in the conference in scoring with 1.48 goals per game.

Jovan Vavic has guided USC into its seventh consecutive NCAA Championship appearance as the Trojans hold a 22-3 overall record. He has his team as the top offense in the MPSF averaging 12.32 goals per game and holding strong on defense with just 5.2 goals-against per game. USC reclaimed the UC Irvine Invitational title this season and finished second in the MPSF Championships, before earning the No. 2 seed into the 2010 NCAA Championships. In his career coaching the USC women, Vavic has racked up a 369-117 all-time record and now three MPSF Women’s Coach of the Year awards. His last such honors came in 1999 and 2004 – also followed by National Coach of the Year picks in national championship seasons at USC.
