International Highlight Audi Sport TT Cup – Hockenheim II, Oct 13 th – Oct 15 nd 2017 Rundown
00:00 - 00:20 Intro
00:24 – 00:37 This is Hockenheim. This ist the Finale of the Audi Sport TT Cup 2017. The one- make cup is looking for his last champion because after three years it´s time to say goodbye to racing series. Who will make it at the event on the traditional track?
00:38 – 01:01 There are three drivers still with chances for the title. And the best chances has this guy. Philip Ellis. Championship leader with 24 points. The Hockenheim track suits him as he showed at the season opener with two impressive victories. At the finale all that´s needed is a fifth and sixth place and that would be enough for him to take the title, so his motto is:
01:01 – 01:18 Philip Ellis (#23 Germany / Great Britain) English
01:18 – 01:12 And this is the hunter: Mikel Azcona. After a bumpy start into the series the spaniard has showed great performance in the middle of the season: with five victories, leader of the championship. But than a crucial weekend in Spielberg came. Two big mis- takes and Azcona was back to second position. Therefore a real learning curve.
01:47 – 02:05 Mikel Azcona (#25, Spain) English
02:05 – 02:24 This is title contender number three: Tommaso Mosca. A constant point scorer during the season, but a victory he hasn´t yet claimed. The italian would need two perfect races and needs to rely on mistakes from other drivers. Therefore not an easy job.
02:24 – 02:31 Tommaso Mosca (#11 Italia) English
02:35 – 02:48 The three title contenders are ready for a great fight. A fight for this: the Audi Sport TT Cup trophy. It was created by these guys from Audi in Ingolstadt and brought to Hockenheim for the final weekend.
