Editorial

Greetings Campers,

It’s good to be back after a great holiday and successful shopping trip. An extra suitcase was required on the return journey for the various spares found along the way. Thankfully everything made it home ok. The Goodwood Revival was once again, fabulous! Perfect weather, even the Aussies found it a little hot, great racing and more Mini’s than I’ve seen in a long time…

The September & October meetings have been well attended. As a result of the recent AGM I would like welcome John Partington to the Committee. I would also thank John & Kerry Rowe for their work as Club Secretary & Membership Registar. Col Jacobson steps into this roll.

The November meeting at Lakeside is also the Christmas lunch. We are planning a spit roast with a 1:00pm start, serving from the pitstop café. Financial members are free. Guests are $20 per head. Please try to get along & bring a chair.

Cars For Sale LBS ( aka.. Little Blue Sprite) I am looking for a new driver! The ole fella is slowing down a bit lately any prospective buyers must be aware that I have an "attitude" similar to a Fox Terrier dog ... chase til they drop!!! I have been known to create havoc among bigger n tougher cars particularly at Morgan Park.. I love doing all forms of sprints, street sprints and the occasional hill climb. Because of my mongrel build I am not "CAMS" log booked! We just like having fun and creating havoc!!! I have heard the ole fella say..I am a "blast " to drive! I have some very good bits in my body and I am quite slim on the scales thanks to my many fibreglass panels. Although I have retained all of my BMC running gear....I still make my mark on the opposition! For any interested buyers $16 K will start negotiations rolling … cheers LBS. PS... you can ring the ole bloke too.. 0411 293426.
