After earning a bachelor’s degree from Central Arkan- sas (1972) and a master’s from Arkansas State (1973), he taught world UTAH COACHES history and physical education at a high school in West Helena, Ark., for Co-Head Coach: one year (1973-74). He moved to Utah in the fall of 1974 as a graduate Greg Marsden (39th year) assistant doctoral candidate and was named Utah’s fi rst gymnastics coach Utah/Career Record: 1,011-202-7 the next year.
