Series summary: Detective/mystery/adventure series set in contemporary Hawaii. Thomas Sullivan Magnum (Selleck), ex-Naval Intelligence officer and Vietnam vet, lives in Hawaii as a security guard on a private estate and does private investigative work to earn a living. Two of the other regular characters in the series, T.C. (Theodore Calvin) (Mosley) and Orville ‘Rick’ Wright (Manetti), are buddies of Magnum from Vietnam days.
