10 November 4, 2015 Election Day in Mt. Vernon: A Family Affair At polling places throughout Mount Vernon, many parents brought their young children with them to vote setting a positive role model and instilling in their children a sense of civic responsibility and duty.

In the early afternoon Tuesday, all the seats were taken at the Hollin Hall Senior Center Staff photos/Steve Hunt polling place, but voters had to only wait a minute or two to cast their ballot.
