CHRISTIE HARRISON After a year which put an end to physical fundraisers, local groups have looked to new ways to raise much needed funds, including the Maryborough Riding Develops Ability (RDA). As COVID-19 restrictions started to ease, the RDA began looking for new ways to make some of the money they’d missed out on during 2020, eventually settling on a pop up shop which is now up and running in Maryborough’s High Street. Maryborough RDA head coach and vice president Aileen Marshall said the shop has so far been a great success after a difficult year. “Like every other organisation, because of COVID we haven’t been Maryborough RDA head coach and vice president Aileen Marshall is encouraging able to raise any funds this year,” everyone to drop into the groupʼs pop up shop in High Street to raise funds for the she said.
