Living up to Life Super-resolution User Club

Leica Microsystems cordially invite you to the 2nd Super- Agenda resolution User Club meeting, to be held at the Science For Tuesday: September 25th, 2012 Life Laboratories, Karolinska, Stockholm. Our second meeting will be hosted by Professor Hjalmar Brismar and Lennart Nilsson Room his group, and will bring together European users of Leica Science For Life Lab, Karolinska Institute, Nobelsväg 15a, STED, STED CW and SR GSD systems. Stockholm The meeting is aimed at pioneering researchers from the European scientific community, who are early adopters 12:00 h Welcome and Buffet lunch and developers of super-resolution techniques. 13:00 h Opening the gate to Super-resolution at Leica The Super-resolution User Club is intended to facilitate Christoph Thumser & Baba Awopetu, Leica Microsystems networking among users of this technology, so creating a forum to share experiences on all aspects of super- 13:30 h Science for Life Laboratory - Advanced Light resolution research, sample preparation and imaging procedures. Hjalmar Brismar, Science For Life Lab, Stockholm, Sweden The agenda for the meeting covers three days, and we are fortunate in once again attracting leaders in this 14:00 h Nanoscopy with focused light specialised imaging field to come and talk in Stockholm. In Stefan Hell, Max Planck Institute for Biophysical addition to the scientific talks, there will also be Chemistry, Department of NanoBiophotonics, opportunities to talk to Leica Microsystems specialists Göttingen, and share your knowledge with other participants via 15:30 h Coffee break workshops on both confocal and widefield super- 16:00 h Rotating Workshops resolution systems, and also on sample preparation. These valuable practical sessions provide the opportunity 18:00 h Wrap up and discussion for picking up tips and tricks from other users and Leica Room A2630, floor 2, alpha-building Science For Life Lab experts 20:00 h Dinner
