Day 1

Welcome to London, the capital of and the , is a 21st-century city with history stretching back to Roman times. At its centre stand the imposing Houses of Parliament, the iconic ‘’ clock tower and Abbey, site of British monarch coronations. Across the Thames River, the observation wheel provides panoramic views of the South Bank cultural complex, and the entire city.

Upon arrival you will be meet in the arrivals hall by your driver and taken to your hotel.

Day 2

London is filled with centuries of history and culture, as well as the legacy of remarkable individuals. Discover some of its most emblematic sights during a full day tour with an expert guide who will tell you about how the city developed and the key figures who made the city what it is today from Henry VIII to Nelson and Elizabeth II.

The afternoon is all about discovering the City of London, the capital’s financial district and the oldest part of the city, as you wander past medieval architecture and modern glass buildings.

The last destination of the day is The . Famous for its Beefeaters (Yeoman Warders) and treacherous prisoners, the tower has been the stage of many historic events and bloody executions, which you’ll find out more about during a guided visit around the turrets and dungeons.

Day 3

Today is day of leisure. Why not visit one of the distinct shopping areas and shopping streets, many of which have their own themes or specialities. Shopping in London is exciting and varied: from luxury goods in Mayfair to quirky finds in , and famous London department stores including the likes of . You can easily spend an hour, an afternoon or a whole day browsing shops in London.

In the evening step on board, relax and let the boat take you on a journey through the city, pass under London’s most iconic bridges and let the sights unfold around you. As the live band begins to play, enjoy the dinner of 5 courses.

Day 4 Your driver will meet at your hotel to embark a day of touring visiting the area where the Romans exploited the hot springs, building a leisure complex around them. The city that developed was dedicated to the goddess of wisdom, invention, the arts, and martial prowess. Those same waters were taken to relieve gout and indigestion in the 18th century when Bath became the centre of fashionable society. Today's city was built during that Georgian era - the age of elegance, epitomised by its timeless classical buildings of honey-coloured Bath (Cotswold) stone. We can visit the Roman baths and the elegant Pump Room, where you can drink the water! The Assembly Rooms houses the fascinating Museum of Costume. Take a moment or two to wander among the bustling shops where hanging baskets of flowers add splashes of colour.

It is then onto the picture book English countryside - green, pleasant and manicured in the Cotswolds. Rolling hills with vistas and big skies. The enclosed fields are dotted with sheep and punctuated by woodland and picturesque villages along winding country roads. From Elizabethan manor houses, cottages and pubs, to the miles of dry-stone walls, the mellow, honey- coloured Cotswolds stone prevails. Time permitting you can stroll around a village or two, like Broadway or Stow-on-the-Wold and browse in the antique shops and craft shops. There are colourful gardens of which the once trend- setting Hidcote is justifiably the most famous.

Day 5

After checking out of your hotel you will leave London behind and will spend the next two nights in the city of Cambridge. Situated on the River Cam in eastern England, home to the prestigious , dating to 1209. University colleges include King’s, famed for its choir and towering Gothic chapel, as well as Trinity, founded by Henry VIII, and St John’s, with its 16th-century Great Gate. University museums have exhibits on archaeology and anthropology, polar exploration, the history of science and zoology.

Once you have arrived and freshen up, the rest of day is free to explore the surroundings, find a local restaurant for dinner.

Your guide will meet you at your hotel and will bring the city to life for you, as learn the history and heritage and tales of its quirky traditions

See a glimpse of academic life at Cambridge University, the library with its historic printing press as you are guided around one of the largest libraries in the UK – home to eight million items and with the right to request a copy of every book published in the UK. It houses scientific, literary and cultural treasures such as Charles Darwin’s papers and correspondence, and Sir Isaac Newton’s works on laws of motion.

Day 7

You trip has come to end and it time to say goodbye and board the flight home.
