Articulation Agreements Toccoa Falls

Brenau University – will admit to junior level status towards a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, students who complete the articulated pre-requisite requirements at . Incoming students must meet all entry requirements for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.

Piedmont College – Piedmont College will admit to junior level status towards a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, students who complete the articulated pre-requisite requirements at Toccoa Falls College. Incoming students must meet all entry requirements for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.

Life University – The purpose of this articulated agreement is for entrance into the Doctor of Chirpractic program of . Curricular and grade point average pre-requisites are specified.

North Technical College – The purpose for this transfer articulation agreement is to encourage students who are attending North Georgia Technical College to further their careers by enrolling at Toccoa Falls College; to eliminate repetition and unnecessary duplication of academic experiences already acquired while enrolled at NGTC and aid in more appropriate placement in an undergraduate curriculum of their choice; and to encourage increased dialogue between administrators, staff and teaching faculty of both institutions in order to promote academic and occupational awareness, information exchange, and understanding.

Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) and Georgia Independent Association (GICA) – This agreement formally recognizes that TCSG, GICA and its 25 member institutions (Toccoa Falls College), are active educational partners in providing educational opportunities for currently enrolled and prospective students of both TCSG and GICA member institutions. Agreement to this partnership requires a commitment by all entities to serve and to facilitate a student’s ability to transfer select coursework without jeopardizing the intended mission and stated goals of any participating entity. GPA requirements, institution-specific course equivalents, communication, and admission are all articulated in this agreement.

Georgia Military College – This agreement formally recognizes that Georgia Independent College Association four-year members (Toccoa Falls College) and are active educational partners in providing educational opportunities for currently enrolled and potential students to assist in the transferability of credit hours from students who have earned the Associate degree at Georgia Military College.

Andrew College – This agreement formally recognizes that Georgia Independent College Association four-year members (Toccoa Falls College) and are active educational partners in providing educational opportunities for currently enrolled and potential students to assist in the transferability of credit hours from students who have earned the Associate degree at Andrew College.

GATracs – This agreement between GICA member institutions, the Georgia Student Finance Commission (GSFC), the University System of Georgia (USG) and the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) articulates course equivalencies between all accredited public and private institutions in Georgia and displays the course equivalencies for prospective transfer students on the GSFC GA411 website.

TransformAsia (2008) – TransformAsia is a Colorado-based ministry to Cambodia. The articulation agreement with TransformAsia, signed in 2008, provides tuition grants to an approved Cambodian student (Chamroun Chea), transferring from University of Phnom Penh, to complete his/her degree requirements, before returning to work with TransformAsia in Cambodia.

English Language Institute/China (ELIC) – This partnership between Toccoa Falls College and ELIC provides numerous opportunities for TFC students to participate in ELIC’s summer, one, and two year Teaching Fellowship programs in China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and Mongolia.

National Institute for International Education (NIIED) – This memorandum of agreement between Toccoa Falls College and the National Institute for International Education (NIIED), a government agency of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology of Korea, located in Seoul, Republic of Korea, is to, through the Teach and Learn in Korea (TaLK) program, provide academic credit-based study, research opportunities, teaching practicum, service learning, and cultural experience through NIIED; to exchange publications; to make cooperative efforts to promote each other’s institutions; and for cross-cultural collaboration.

Institute of Strategic Languages and Cultures (ISLC) – An agreement whereby we bring in adjunct language instructors from ISLC (Columbia, SC) in Russian, Arabic, or Chinese for intensive summer coursework. [ Insufficient enrollment in 2009 – Agreement considered “on the shelf” until reactivated .]

Social Security Administration Cooperative Education Program Agreement – The anticipated result of the agreement is that each party will assist the other in the accomplishment of program objectives. For Toccoa Falls College, it is recognized that such objective are primarily educational in nature. While concerned with the enrichment of the curriculum and student learning, the Federal Agency is primarily concerned with utilizing Cooperative Education Program as a staffing program designed to prepare students for professional careers in administration, managerial, and technical occupations by integrating alternating periods of academic study and work experience.

Consortial Relationships for Study Abroad and Off-Campus Programs

BestSemester.com is the portal for the off-campus study programs offered by the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU). As a member of the CCCU, Toccoa Falls College and its students participate in the semester-length study abroad and off-campus programs of BestSemester.com.

Jerusalem University College (JUC) – Toccoa Falls College has partnered with Jerusalem University College to offer a semester of study in Israel.
