1. Vikram Sarabhai (Father of Indian Space Programme)

Vikram Ambalal Sarabhai (12 August 1919 – 30 December 1971) was an Indian physicist and astronomer who initiated space research and helped develop nuclear power in India. He was honoured with Padma Bhushan in 1966 and the Padma Vibhushan in 1972.

2. Homi J Bhabha ( Father of Indian Nuclear Programme)

Homi Jehangir Bhabha (30 October 1909 – 24 January 1966) was an Indian nuclear physicist, founding director, and professor of physics at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR).Bhabha was also the founding director of the Atomic Energy Establishment, Trombay (AEET) which is now named the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre in his honour.

3. Subroto Mukerjee ( Father of )

Subroto Mukerjee, (born March 5, 1911, Calcutta [now ], India—died November 8, 1960, , Japan), Indian military officer and the first Indian commander of the Indian Air Force (IAF).

4. Dr. Verghese Kurien (Father of India’s White Revolution)

Verghese Kurien, (born November 26, 1921, —died September 9, 2012), Indian engineer and entrepreneur who was regarded as the architect of India’s “white revolution,” which transformed the country from an importer of dairy products to the world’s largest milk producer.

5. Dada Saheb Phalke ( Father of Indian Cinema)

Dhundiraj Govind Phalke, popularly known as Dadasaheb Phalke, was an Indian producer- director-screenwriter, known as the Father of Indian cinema. His debut film, Raja Harishchandra, was the first Indian movie in 1913, and is now known as India's first full-length feature film.

6. Dr BR Ambedkar (Father of Indian Constitution )

Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar ( 14 April 1891 – 6 December 1956), also known as Babasaheb Ambedkar , was an Indian jurist, economist, politician and social reformer, who inspired the Dalit Buddhist movement and campaigned against social discrimination towards the untouchables (Dalits). He was a member of the Constituent Drafting committee.

7. Dr APJ Abdul Kalam (Father of Indian Missile Programme)

Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam was an Indian aerospace scientist and politician who served as the 11th from 2002 to 2007. He played a leading role in the development of India’s missile and nuclear weapons programs.

8. Vijay Pandurang Bhatkar ( Father of Indian computer Science )

Vijay Pandurang Bhatkar is an Indian computer scientist, IT leader and educationalist. He is best known as the architect of India's national initiative in supercomputing where he led the development of Param supercomputers. He is a Padma Bhushan, Padma Shri and Maharashtra Bhushan awardee.
