Annual Report 2014-15 HUMANITY TRUST STRENGTHENING HEALTH AND SOCIETY MESSAGE FROM CHAIRMAN Most of the Indians live in village. Most of them are uneducated, poor and unhealthy. But health and medical services for those are very much insufficient in spite of every effort by the state and national government. Millions of Indians die out of malnutrition ,without treatment or support for living. Humanity trust is ushering in a quiet revolution by providing health and medical services at almost free of cost to those who really need it. In the last 22 yrs. two hospitals are made, both of them focusing on the rural mass, where they are located. Besides that, number of outreach programs are conducted on awareness , medical, medicine, eye and like . Breakdown in family structure means breakage of social bonding and the society starts malfunctioning. The most vulnerable are the old and the children. It is very shamming to witness an old, child or women abuse. To protect them, “Kishore Kalyan Kendra AND Shantineer ” , an old age home combined with orphanage is on the way to rebuild the distorted social bonding. Strengthening the “have- nots” through various ways is the next target. Cloth distribution, livestock distribution free tuition and counseling program are also our micro projects. Setting-up an English-medium school for poor villagers , after care units for girls and women at both the locations are our future projects. Miles to go before I sleep… We are determined to deepen and widen our all projects to reach more people. Though we are stumbling for financial crunch, but with the blessings of almighty and your whole hearted support we shall overcome all the hurdles. In the last year, we have served 32471 patients in Hanspukur and 17421 patients in Sunderban unit. Total _______ operations (major,Semi major and minor) were done successfully with the team of ____ doctors, ______ nurses,______paramedics and other supporting staffs and Volunteers. In _____camps of different dimension at different locations, total _______people were benefited. Total fund received was INR 10378949.31 and expenditure incurred was INR 10583906(Recuring)+INR 9830225 (Capital)=INR 20414131 On behalf of the Humanity Trust; I thank heartily to, all the board members for their prompt and appropriate advice, all the donors for their support, all local residents for actively participating in the programs, all volunteers and staffs for their selfless and wholehearted endeavor and all forms of media for promoting our activities. 15 th APR 2015 Dr. Ajoy K Mistry Thakurpukur, Kolkata. (Chairman& Mg. Trustee) MESSAGE FROM LIFE TRUSTEE A man died but a dream was born. Subasini Mistry, an illiterate village widower of Sadhan Mistry, the mother of four kids ranging 4 to 8 yrs, took vow to build an hospital for the poor, to take revenge of the death of her husband due to lack of treatment. “Services to the Human Being” keeping this motto ahed, Humanity Trust was formed in 1993,and Humanity Hospital a 3-storied building came into the services for mankind in1995. The dream inspired the whole family, local residents and many more. Help and services poured in from various corners. Led by her youngest son, Ajoy, who crossed the thorny roads of his childhood in barefoot, now, Dr. Ajoy K Mistry, a medical doctor of high repute with sagacious heart; the trust is working vehemently and expanding its fields of work from medical to social service to community development to education and many more. “Sky is the limit” and with the support from all corners all of these will be turned to reality soon. In conclusion I thank the team of Humanity Trust for another year of selfless work. I am indebted to our esteemed Board of Governors for their appropriate counsel. Importantly, the most sincere thanks to the donors, both individuals and corporate; and the media; they have stood by us through the years. 15 th Apr 2015 Subasini Mistry Thakurpukur,Kolkata (Life Trustee) MESSAGE FROM TRUSTEE MESSAGE FROM TRUSTEE (ALL WITH PHOTO) MESSAGE FROM OUR DONORS (WITH PHOTO) ACC0LADES FOR HUMANITY TRUST we Certificate of Organisation 1993 By Rotry Village Corps Paul Harris Fellowship Award 1996 Revolutionary Woman Award 1997 By Behala Police Station Coordination Committee Tribute from Kolkata Book Fair 2001 Indiri Gandhi Smriti Puraskar 2002 Service above Self 2005 from Rotary International Salvation Award Silver Awards 2008 from HARMONY Foundation Real Heroes 2009 from CNN-IBN Nari Samman 2009 By Channel-1 Janahita Award 2009 by CKJI Sarana Sankriti award 2009 by Basava, Sri Murugharajendranmath, Chitradurg Amaze 2009 from IIPM Vocational Excellence Award 2009-10 from Rotary International Jagaran Award Swami Vivekananda Award 2012 by Ramkrishna Mission Ghare-Baire Adwitiya Award 2012 SATYAMEV JAYATE 2012 BY AMIR KHAN Y-COMM award of excellence 2012-13 By NSHM Kolkata 24 Ghanta Ananya Sanman, 2013 Aparajita 2013 by Rupasi Bangala Great Mind Award 2013 By BWS- 14 No Felicitation by Tata Salt - Desh Ka Namak- 2014 Sanman Gyapan 2014 by Belgharia Society Winner of DADAGIRI Award 2014 by Zee Bangal- Saurabh Ganguly Felicitation By Dept.
