College Soccer Tour Spring 2018

Argentina College Soccer Tour. Since 1988 United Soccer Academy has been providing collegiate teams from across the United States with quality opportunities and experiences to travel and compete internationally. The Argentina Tour is specially designed and coordinated for international soccer travel and competition.

The goal of the Argentina College Tour is to provide the players and team with an excellent soccer playing experience and opportunity to travel and compete in Argentina. This tour will provide players with a top-notch, professionally coordinated soccer program from training to quality, competitive matches to attending a professional game. The tour promises to provide players and team with an excellent soccer and unique cultural experience, both on and off the field in Argentina.

General Program

Day 1 Excitement builds as the players and staff departs from a US Gateway on an overnight flight to , Argentina for their ten-day soccer tour to Buenos Aires, Argentina. Due to the overnight flight to South America the team will arrive in Buenos Aires the following morning.

Day 2 Upon arrival in Buenos Aires at Ezeiza International Airport (EZE) the group will be met by their fulltime, bilingual United Soccer Academy tour manager and will transfer to Hotel Bel Air, a 4- hotels, within five in the heart of Buenos Aires. Following check-in and lunch the group will take part in a light training session. Welcome dinner at a local restaurant. (Buenos Aires)

Day 3 The day will begin with a morning training session at the training grounds of Racing Club, Predio Tita Mattiussi. Following the session and lunch the group will have a guided sightseeing tour of Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina and the second largest city in South America, behind Sao Paulo, Brazil. Dinner at local restaurant following the tour. (Buenos Aires)

Day 4 Morning training session with a professional coach from the Argentine Football Association (AFA). Following the session and lunch the tour the group will attend an Argentine Primera Division match (, River Plate, Racing, Independiente, or San Lorenzo) in the late afternoon. Day 5 Following breakfast, the team will have their first international match while tour vs Racing Club (1st & 2nd team). After the matches and lunch the group will visit San Telmo, "Saint Pedro González Telmo", the oldest neighborhood in Buenos Aires. San Telmo is a well- preserved “barrio” and is known for its colonial buildings where cafes, tango parlors and antique shops line the cobblestone streets, which are often filled with artists and dancers. Dinner at a local restaurant and leisure time. (Buenos Aires)

Day 6 The day will begin with a morning training session at the training grounds of Racing Club, Predio Tita Mattiussi. Following lunch the afternoon is free for sightseeing and shopping in Buenos Aires. Dinner at a local restaurant. (Buenos Aires)

Day 7 In the morning the team will have its second match (2) of the tour versus San Lorenzo (1st & 2nd team). Following the match and lunch the group will be at leisure prior to a city tour of Bueno Aires from visiting the La Casa Rosa (the Pink House) to the National Congress to the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Cathedral. Dinner at a local restaurant. (Buenos Aires)

Day 8 Following breakfast, morning and afternoon at leisure. After lunch training session with a professional coach from the Argentine Football Association (AFA). Additional sightseeing and shopping will be scheduled for the “Family & Friends” participants. Dinner at the hotel. (Buenos Aires)

Day 9 In the morning the team will have its third match (3) of the tour versus Velez Sarsfield (1st & 2nd team). Following the matches the afternoon is free for last minute shopping and sightseeing. A special farewell dinner and party in the evening. (Buenos Aires)

Day 10 Following breakfast, the group will visit Sante Fe Avenue, a main shopping and strolling street in Buenos Aires. Following lunch the players and staff will return to the hotels to pack and prepare for departure. Afternoon transfer to Ezeiza International Airport (EZE) for return flight back to the United States with arrival on the same day.

INCLUSIONS

 Price guaranteed in US Dollars at the time of deposit.  One (1) free tour spots for coaches/staff based on 15 full paying participants.  Round trip international air transportation/flights from US gateway city to Argentina. PROGRAM FOR BOOSTERS

The “Booster Program” is for parents and family members interested in participating on the tour. The program and itinerary is the same for parents and family members. Additional tour inclusions can be added such as wine and food tastings, golf outings, and in-depth sightseeing excursions. Exact tour costs are based on the overall number of participants (players, staff, family members) traveling on tour and the originating US gateway city. Tour prices are based on single, double, or triple occupancy.
