Job Title: Girl’s & Women’s Development Officer Salary: £400p/m Hours: P/T 10hrs per week (set hours 4.00-8.30pm Mon & Wed) Contract Type: Permanent Report: Development Manager & Head of Girls Section RRCC Start Date: TBC

Job Role

The successful applicant will lead on the development of our Girls & Women’s Pathway creating links between Participation based football and Grassroots club football.

Key Duties: • To lead on the implementation of a G&Ws community pathway. • Support & mentor Grassroots coaches through personal development plans and a coach development programme. • Create a vision for the Girls & Women’s section at RRCC to support player & coach development. • Engage with external stakeholders & partners to further enhance our provision. • Support in the recruitment and identification of female players for RRCC. • Liaise with & provide progress reports to RRCF and RRCC a monthly basis.

Competencies and Qualifications

Essential Desirable Qualifications Scottish FA Coach Education 1.3 Scottish FA Advanced Children’s Award Level qualification or Licence equivalent Scottish FA C Licence or above. Mental Health Online Module Child Wellbeing Module HNC / HND in Sports Coaching or other relative subject. Work Related Minimum of 3 years delivery of Coach Mentoring / Coach Education Experience grassroots / community coaching. delivery experience Experience in an office / administration role. Curriculum Development experience Experience working with Microsoft for grassroots aged players. Office.

Personal Excellent communication skills – both Attributes internally & externally. Creative thinking with regards to new programmes and projects. Confidence in delivering programmes autonomously with little support and guidance. Empathetic and supportive nature to participants’ circumstances. Excellent customer service skills.

Motivated to succeed by meeting and surpassing targets. Flexible to change. Highly professional at all times. Must be willing to develop excellent communication channels for our players, parents and coaches.

Marketing and promotion – taking a leadership role in Kirkcaldy – We want to significantly raise the profile or our charity and the RRCF brand to achieve greater recognition and support for the Foundation’s work. 5. Monitoring and Impact – Demonstrating value – We want to demonstrate the value of our work clearly, using monitoring and evaluation of our performance to guide future delivery and increase the long-term impact of our activities
