Most of the flowers bloom around springtime at Jacks Peak, so the best time to go looking for them is usually late to June. But if it is not springtime don’t let that stop you from looking for flowers. Some bloom during summer, fall, or winter.

The flowers are listed by color in four categories: Red to Pink, Purple to Blue, Yellow to Orange and White. Some plants of the same species will bloom in different colors. For example, some Black Sage (Salvia mellifera) shrubs may bloom white while some shrubs may bloom lavender. So, if a flower is not in one color category it might be in another category, because the plants in this brochure will only be pictured once.
