“Good morning, good day!” Productions' is casting its early Spring Production of She Loves Me!

SYNOPSIS:

What can be more romantic than falling in love with your pen pal? When you don’t know who your loved one is, what they look like, or what they do, can only make the excitement even more enduring. And what can be more surprising than to find out your “Dear One” is someone right beside you! How will they feel when they find out, especially when you don’t get along with each other in person? She Loves Me follows our two hopeless lovers, but will they find true love in the end? Written by and () and () this is a truly romantic musical comedy gem, and a terrific show to bring out your character!

** This show is ideal for singers and actors and dancers. All characters will sing, dance, and act to varying degrees, but above all else need to work together as a well aligned ensemble** over for more info-->

AUDITION DATES (Held at Citi-Plaza 355 Wellington St, London, Ontario):

Saturday September 12 11:30am-5:00pm Sunday September 13 5:30pm – 9:30pm Call-backs will be scheduled for the evening of: Tuesday September 15 7:00pm – 10:00pm

Tentative rehearsal schedule will be available at audition sign-in. You may declare any potential conflicts at that time.

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:

1 Broadway song that shows character (accompanist to be provided)

There will be a dance component to the audition at call-backs (bring appropriate footwear and dress to move)

The production will run February 6th to the 14th, 2016 at The McManus Studio Theatre (at The Grand Theatre).

CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS:

Arpad Laszlo: BARITONE. Delivery boy at Maraczek's Parfumerie. His exuberance is infectious and commitment to his job remarkable. He is ambitious and adorable.

Ladislav Sipos: BARITONE. Not the brightest employee at Maraczek's Parfumerie. A confidant to Georg, he is an optimistic family man who looks like a huggable father. Steven Kodaly: TENOR. A well respected and liked employee at Maraczek's Parfumerie. Though he is considered dapper and occasionally charming, he is more of a shallow womanizer.

Mr. Maraczek: BARITONE. Owner of Maraczek's Parfumerie. With a commanding presence, his dedication to the trade is rivaled only by his faithfulness to his wife.

Georg Nowack: TENOR/BARITONE. An established employee of Maraczek's Parfumerie, he resembles a hopeless romantic. Shy, intelligent, and soft spoken. He is like the son Mr. Maraczek never had.

Amalia Balash: SOPRANO. The eager new employee at Maraczek's Parfumerie. Despite being a skilled saleswoman, she easily becomes intimated and nervous. Attractive, bright, and a lover of literature.

Ilona Ritter: MEZZO-SOPRANO. Employed at Maraczek's Parfumerie. She is sexy and learned in the ways of romance, but longing for something more from the game of love.

Waiter: TENOR. An eccentric and over-zealous waiter insistent on creating a romantic atmosphere.

Busboy: NON-SINGING ROLE. Clumsy at his job he makes the waiter’s life a nightmare.

Mr. Keller: NON-SINGING ROLE. A highly secretive Private investigator

Shoppers, Café Visitors, Carolers: ALL VOICE PARTS NEEDED.
