Other large collections not yet calendared are those of Bankes of Winstanley, Bootle-Wilbraham of Lathom, Winckley of Brockholes and Preston, Rivington and Blackrod Grammar School, and a second instalment from the Lord Hesketh which brings the important muniments of his family's Lancashire estates up to the twentieth century. With the gift to the County Council of the Broughton Tower estate and the manor of Broughton-in-Furness by Sir Robert Rankin came an important series of documents, part of which having been calendared can be described as follows :
