Page 27 AUCTION RULES o Bids made in person will be received from 10.00 am on Saturday 10 July 1999 until 1.00 pm on Saturday 17 July 1999. o Each bid is registered with bidderÕs name, address, bid and signature. o The latest bid is listed against the number of the book on the board adjacent to the Slow Auction section. o The books will be closed at 1.00 pm on Saturday 17 July to allow the board to be updated. o Commencing at 3.00 pm on Saturday 17 July 1999, the board will be called to allow all bids to be finalised. o Books may be viewed in the Auction Section until 12.30 pm on Saturday 17 July 1999. o OPENING BID ON EACH BOOK $30 rises by $5 minimum. WHEN BID REACHES $100 rises by $25 minimum. o There is a reserve price on some books. However, the highest bid not reaching a reserve will be considered. o Successful Slow Auction bidders must collect books before 12 noon on Tuesday 19 July 1999. o The Committee reserves the right to offer any book not collected to the next highest bidder. o Bids are expected to be honored.
