To date 7 species were known: Leptus (Leptus) berlesei (Oudemans, 1913), L. (L.) gyas Fain & Amico, 1997, L. (L.) josifovi Beron, 1975, L. (L.) molochinus (C. L. Koch, 1837), L. (L.) phalangii (de Geer, 1778), L. (L.) pyreanaeus André, 1953 and L. (L.) trimaculatus (Rossi, 1794) (André, 1953, Fain & Amico, 1997, Haitlinger, 2007a, Beron, 2008, Mąkol & Wohltmann, 2012). Now 8th species, L. (L.) killingtoni Turk, 1945 is found. The genus Podothrombium Berlese, 1910 is widespread in Europe but no species were known from Montenegro. In this paper, the first record of P. tymoni Haitlinger, 1994 is reported. Arknotrombium arknesianum Haitlinger, 2007 was known only from a single specimen from Montenegro. Now, the second record of this very rare species is noted. New metric data for A. arknesianum and P. tymoni and corrected meristic data for A. arknesianum are given. The terminology and abbreviations follow Robaux (1977) and Mąkol (2007). Leptus (Leptus) killingtoni Turk, 1945 Material examined: France, Bretagne, L’Arcouest n. Paimpol (48º49’N, 3º01’W), 7.07.2015, 1 larva; leg. R. Haitlinger. This species is restricted to west Europe and was found in Azores Islands (Portugal), England and Spain (Galicia) (Turk, 1945, Haitlinger, 2006, Lorenzo-Carballa et al., 2011) and France (Bretagne) (this study). Podothrombium tymoni Haitlinger, 1994 Material examined: Montenegro, Žabljak (43º09’N, 19º06’E), 2.08.2014, 1 larva; leg. M. Šundić. This species is known from middle, east and south Europe. It was found in Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Italy, Poland and Slovenia (Mąkol & Wohltmann, 2012). First record from Montenegro. Measurements for this species and meristic data were given for holotype from Austria and some specimens from Poland (Haitlinger, 1994, 1995, Mąkol. 2005). In this paper new measurements of specimens from Czech Republic, Italy, Montenegro and Slovenia are given (Table 1). Previously, only one species of Trombidium had been reported from Turkey. Five species of the genus Trombidium were identified and original drawings based on the collected materials were made. These species are new records for the Turkish mite fauna. An identification key to the adult Turkish species of Trombidium is also provided. Also, an abnormality was noted for the larvae of this species. Keywords: Trombidium, larva, first description, abnormality Trombidium rimosum C. L. Bu çalışmada, ilk kez, T. rimosum larvaları Türkiye’den tanımlanmış ve çizimleri verilmiştir. Tüm larvalar, araziden toplanan dişi bireylerden, elde edilmiştir. Ayrıca bu türün larvalarına ait bir morfolojik farklılık belirlenmiştir. Altogether 33 species of eight parasitic families of tleas (Ischnopsyllidae), batflies (Nycteribiidae), bugs (Cimicidae), mites (Spinturnicidae, Macronyssidae, Trom- biculidae, Sarcoptidae) and ticks (Argasidae, Ixodidae) were found. Eight species were recorded first time in Bavaria. All coilected parasites are deposited in the collection of the Zoologische Staatsammlung München (ZSM). • Burmese Amber Taxa
Burmese (Myanmar) amber taxa, on-line checklist v.2018.1 Andrew J. Ross 15/05/2018 Principal Curator of Palaeobiology Department of Natural Sciences National Museums Scotland Chambers St. Edinburgh EH1 1JF E-mail: [email protected] http://www.nms.ac.uk/collections-research/collections-departments/natural-sciences/palaeobiology/dr- andrew-ross/ This taxonomic list is based on Ross et al (2010) plus non-arthropod taxa and published papers up to the end of April 2018. It does not contain unpublished records or records from papers in press (including on- line proofs) or unsubstantiated on-line records. Often the final versions of papers were published on-line the year before they appeared in print, so the on-line published year is accepted and referred to accordingly. Note, the authorship of species does not necessarily correspond to the full authorship of papers where they were described. The latest high level classification is used where possible though in some cases conflicts were encountered, usually due to cladistic studies, so in these cases an older classification was adopted for convenience. The classification for Hexapoda follows Nicholson et al. (2015), plus subsequent papers. † denotes extinct orders and families. New additions or taxonomic changes to the previous list (v.2017.4) are marked in blue, corrections are marked in red. The list comprises 37 classes (or similar rank), 99 orders (or similar rank), 510 families, 713 genera and 916 species. This includes 8 classes, 64 orders, 467 families, 656 genera and 849 species of arthropods. 1 Some previously recorded families have since been synonymised or relegated to subfamily level- these are included in parentheses in the main list below.
