TREATMENTS

Many people still have dental problems but live in poverty and can’t afford the expensive dental treatments. The local provincial dental clinic can’t deal with the whole West Coast region on their own, that’s why the backlog is so big. Also they treat very little people when they do see patients.

Patient load for extractions has dropped over the years but the amount of extractions increased. This is an indication that NO preventative measures are in place at schools and grass root levels.
